PAUSE FOR PEACE 

Take a Pause for Peace during your busy work week. Take 30 minutes over the lunch hour to slow down and enjoy a peaceful pause.pause pic

Join us from 12:15 pm to 12:45; enter a peaceful atmosphere, step away from the thoughts that fill your mind, and refresh yourself with new energy.

Enjoy soft music a gentle guided commentary to uplift your thoughts and increase your energy for the rest of the day and the rest of the week.

SILENCE RETREAT

spiritual christmasSilence is nectar for the soul

For those who love silence and for those who are a wee bit afraid of it – come for the experiment of 3 hours with yourself and discover what good company you can be. In silence the noise of the mind settles and I can begin to see beneath to the quiet space inside myself.

This guided 3 hour session will give you time alone but with instructions and input: meditation, reading, reflective exercises, a silent tea party, enjoying the company of others while in your inner world.

Try it. Enter in silence, leave in silence.

LIVING AS ART: Every Monday night

Living becomes art when every thought, word and action is an expression of spirituafullness. Each Monday night during the winter we will explore one of 16 dimensions of living~ through the lens of spiritual fullness.

In astrological terms, sixteen celestial degrees refers to the moon when it is at its fullest. Seen from earth, the moon brightens the night sky as the sun illuminates its entire surface. The aim of Raja Yoga Meditation is to become full of virtues and positive energy.

Pure spiritual energy fills every aspect of the ‘being’ when the darkness of the soul is released. When the human soul is full, complete with all virtues, it shines like the full moon reflecting the light of the spiritual Sun (God) on its entire surface.

Some of the Arts include:

  • The art of revealing and concealing
  • The art of thinking
  • The art of communicating

SILENT SUNDAYS

For those who are aware that this world is on the edge of a dramatic and profound shift, and sense they have a significant role to play in support of a new world.

A power hour of music, meditation commentary and silence to start your week.

Open to all. No experience or registration required.

Every Sunday 6:30 pm to 7:30pm

WORLD MEDITATION HOUR

WMH_WebImage2World Meditation Hour began in 1978 when people from all over the world were invited to collectively meditate for one hour for world peace. Over the years this practice has become very popular and has spread to over 90 countries around the world, currently attracting nearly a million people.

Whether or not you know how to meditate, you are invited to join us on the third Sunday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 pm and spend 60 minutes of your time radiating peace, love and care to our world. Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends and family.

A five-week introduction course to meditation for beginners. Raja Yoga is ‘yoga for the mind’. It helps to focus the energy of thinking in directions that create and sustain the experience of peace, love and happiness.

PRACTICAL TOOLS FOR MEDITATION (pre-requisite: Introduction to Meditation)

When you register for the first night, you are doing so with the intention to attend the entire course which will run for five consecutive Tuesdays.
